London’s grand Belle Époque hotel — menus 1896–1906

Opened by Richard D’Oyly Carte in 1889 as part of his Gilbert & Sullivan empire, the Savoy Hotel quickly became London’s most prestigious establishment. Auguste Escoffier ran the kitchen until 1898. Our Savoy menus span the turn of the century and exemplify the height of Belle Époque London dining.
