A printed wedding / reception menu from Cooper-Wolff, 1898. Bridal breakfasts and reception dinners survive as some of the most personal and beautifully printed menus of their period.

Wedding breakfasts, reception dinners, and silver- and golden-wedding anniversaries from late-Victorian and Edwardian America were occasions for the most personal of printed menus. Often hand-engraved or beautifully embossed, frequently in French or German, they survive as intimate documents of a family moment.
