Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026. This policy explains what data The Menu Press collects from visitors and customers, how we use it, and your rights.
Who we are
The Menu Press is the operator of themenupress.com. For privacy questions, contact hello@themenupress.com.
What we collect
- Order data. When you make a purchase we receive: name, email address, billing address (as required by the payment processor), the items ordered, and the order total. We do not see or store your full credit-card number.
- Payment data. Payments are processed by PayPal. PayPal collects and processes your payment information under its own privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of payment and the buyer’s name and email.
- Account data. If you create an account, we store your name, email, password (hashed), and order history.
- Browser data. Like most sites we log anonymous information such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and analytics.
- Cookies. Essential cookies for the cart and checkout; optional analytics cookies subject to your consent (see the cookie banner).
How we use your data
- To fulfil your order and deliver download links.
- To respond to support requests.
- To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations.
- To improve the site and protect it against abuse.
Who we share it with
We share order data only with the third parties strictly necessary to run the business: our payment processor (PayPal), our hosting provider (Hostinger), and, where legally required, tax authorities. We do not sell data.
Retention
We retain order records for the period required by tax law in our jurisdiction (typically 6–7 years). Account data is retained for as long as the account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
Your rights
You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@themenupress.com.
